If the council grants an application for a license pursuant to this article, the city manager shall issue the necessary licenses or license renewals upon payment of the required fees. Such a license or license renewal shall remain in effect until the license expires pursuant to CMC 5.08.930, is surrendered by the licensee, or is revoked pursuant to CMC 5.08.980.
