A residential collector shall collect all solid waste, recyclable materials, and green waste placed for collection in compliance with this chapter from each residential premises once a week in accordance with a schedule which has been approved by the city manager. The schedule shall identify the routes and days of collection for each collection route established within the city. Unless otherwise approved by the city council, collection of solid waste, recyclable materials and green waste shall take place no less than once each calendar week, on the same day of each week.
